The “Shidai Innovation” is a 20.77‑meter pure electric luxury yacht jointly developed by CATL and Yaguang Technology, recognized as China‘s first independently developed, multifunctional intelligent yacht to meet the latest China Classification Society (CCS) regulations. Powered by CATL‘s 492 kWh (optional 700 kWh) high‑safety LFP marine battery system, the yacht features CATL’s proven LFP chemistry, cell‑level intelligent temperature sensors, no-propagation thermal runaway prevention technology, and IP67 protection. In pure electric mode, the yacht achieves a top speed of 10 knots and 5 hours at 7 knots economy speed, with zero tailpipe emissions and ultra‑low noise – saving an estimated 100+ tonnes of CO₂ annually compared to conventional vessels of similar size. As a flagship e‑vessel pilot project in Fujian Province, the “Shidai Innovation” demonstrates CATL‘s technological leadership in yacht electrification and sets a replicable benchmark for the green, premium, and intelligent transformation of China’s marine tourism industry.
