The Shenzhen "Bay Cruise 1-4" fleet is China's first independently developed and operated full-fleet series of electric/hybrid luxury sightseeing vessels. Since 2020, these four world-class ships have been conducting cruises past the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge from Shenzhen's Shekou Cruise Homeport, serving over 580,000 passengers annually while significantly reducing emissions along the bay. The fleet demonstrates CATL's ability to power high-end passenger vessels with high-safety LFP marine battery systems featuring CTP technology and intelligent BMS. "Bay Cruise 1" holds the title of China's first oil-electric hybrid luxury seagoing catamaran. Together, the fleet establishes a highly replicable "coastal model" for the global electrification of sightseeing passenger ships.
